Mrs. Tara Hepworth - Speech and Language Pathologist

 

My name is Tara Hepworth and I graduated from California State University, Chico with my bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders 2018 and master's degree in 2020. Becoming a speech therapist has been a dream of mine for many years. This is my second year working at STREAM Charter School. Oroville is a very special place to me because it is where I grew up. Here in this wonderful community I have been truly blessed and have created many lifelong friendships and learned from some of the best educators and coaches out there! My family recently moved back to Oroville after living in Gridley for 13 years where we lived and worked on the Hepworth family prune & walnut farm. I am excited to be back in the town where I was born and raised, and I am looking forward to giving back to this wonderful community! In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the kid’s sporting events, and coaching. My family and I enjoy all things water related, skiing/snowboarding, camping, and hiking. I love working with children and I am looking forward to the year ahead!
