Mrs. Melissa Frasier - Learning Loss Mitigation and Interventionist
My new exciting placement this year is in the position of Learning Loss Mitigation and Interventionist
I have been the kindergarten teacher at STREAM Charter School since its opening in 2014, so this will definitely be a big change for me! I have a Masters in Education, and am looking forward to utilizing it in this new assignment. Not to mention I get to brainstorm and collaborate with Mrs. Friberg to design a phenomenal program to help our kiddos combat the learning loss that has occurred due to COVID restrictions with distance learning.
Since I have been the kindergarten teacher at STREAM for so long, my original class is now in 7th grade this year, which means I know just about every student on campus. I am looking forward to being able to reconnect with my former students and getting to work with them again. How many teachers get to do that!
My roots in Oroville stem back for three generations, and I love this community. I have three children, and we hang out in the water as much as possible by fishing, kayaking, or floating. My husband and I love the "Friday Night Lights", and between coaching and snack bars it keeps us super busy.
So happy to be a part of STREAM and our community. Looking forward to a great year of learning and growth.
