Ms. Desiree Cox

Transitional Kindergarten

 

My name is Desiree Cox and I am a TK teacher for STREAM. The 2023/2024 school year will be my first at STREAM. I have recently moved to Oroville to be closer to my family. I began my teaching career in Sacramento where I taught Kindergarten and Second Grade. 

 

I graduated from California Baptist University in 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science.  Once my degree was completed, I worked in social work for a few years. In 2021, I graduated from William Jessup University and earned a Master in Teaching degree with a multiple subject teaching credential.  I love to make learning fun and playful. I am excited to be teaching TK this year and can’t wait to see students learn and grow!
