Mrs. Lucia Navarro-Imsdahl - ASP Director and Aide
I was born and raised in Santa Rosa, CA. After High School, I attended Santa Rosa Junior College and received my Associates of Science in Administration of Justice. After Transferring to California State University of Sacramento, I earned my Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice. My experience includes working for the Santa Rosa Junior College Police Department and Mountain View Police Department. College internships include working as both a cadet and dispatcher for Santa Rosa Junior College Police Department, Santa Rosa Police Department, and California Highway Patrol.
Before coming to STREAM, I worked at the Butte County District Attorney’s Office for 4 ½ years. Prior to that, I worked for 10 years at Community Action Agency’s Esplanade House which is a transitional shelter program for homeless families with children as an Administrative Assistant. This position included supervising interns, volunteers, employees, working directly with clients and their children, acting as a facilities manager, apartment manager, assistant to the Program Operations Director and coordinating special events.
I enjoy working with individuals and coordinating programs and events. As a mom of three children between the ages of 10 and 18, I have fun teaching and making events enjoyable for the kids. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and volunteering in my local Church Community. I have participated in the local Mud Run, completed three Spartans (Sprint, Super and Beast) with a future goal of completing all three Spartan races and earning a Trifecta medal. I enjoy watching Giants games with my hubby, scrapbooking, reading and watching my favorite movies.
I look forward to this school year working as a Teacher’s Aide in Kindergarten as well as the After School Program Director.
