Final Day in Washington DC
Our Eighth Graders have had quite the week! Four days jam packed with touring museums, monuments, restaurants, and lots more! On their final day in DC, they toured the White House, visited with Einstein - STREAM's Patron Saint, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, took a break to enjoyed lunch at the world's largest McDonald's, then visited the Air and Space museum. Washington DC Day 3
Our STREAM Eighth Grade Class had a packed day today in Washington DC. They toured the White House, met with Congressman Doug LaMalfa, visited the WWII Memorial, Ford's Theater, visited Arlington National Cemetery where they were privileged with participating in a wreath ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Solider, Martin Luther King Jr. memorial, Korean Monument, and the Lincoln Memorial. STREAM's 5th/6th Grade Boys Basketball team played against Ishi Hills this evening. They lost the game, but battled the whole time. Great job guys!


More Day 2 in DC
This just in! Our Eighth Grade class visited The Newseum today. They had the opportunity to try their hand at broadcasting, learned about what news makes the front page, enjoyed a great view of the White House, saw the CNN dish from the Twin Towers, part of the Berlin Wall, and they even found a little snow outside while waiting for the bus.
